To apply for our Boston TEFL Certificate Program, you must have
completed your Bachelor's degree, or have an equivalent professional
background.
Non-Native speakers of English will also be required to participate in a telephone or in-person interview. A TOEFL score is not required, but may be submitted if available.
Here are the steps for applying to the teacher training program at the
Boston Academy of English:
Please note that as part of your application, you are
asked to submit a personal statement of 300 words and a copy of your updated
resume.
2. Pay $250 Application Fee and Deposit
A $250 non-refundable application fee and deposit is required when
applying for the TEFL Certificate Program ($50 application fee plus $200 of the total tuition
costs).

3. Pay $60 international courier fee and follow visa-application
procedures
(international students only)
4. Pay the non-refundable late fee of $50 if your application is being
submitted less than two weeks before the start of the program.
International students
requiring an I-20 for full-time study at the Boston Academy of English
must also pay a $60 courier fee as part of the
application process. Payment can be made by using one of the payment methods
listed below.
